The Manaoag Miracle

Known for its beautiful islands, the Philippines boasts not only its natural beauty but majority of its historic architecture. Being one of the biggest Catholic countries in the world and the largest in Asia, Cathedrals and Basilicas serve as major pilgrimage sites in the country.

One of the most revered churches and  most famous in the country is the Minor Basilica of our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of Manaoag.

The ivory icon of our Mother Mary with the child Jesus, stands on the center altar and is known for granting prayers as soon as willed. Devotees from all over the country converge to offer prayers of thanksgiving and intentions.

At the end of every mass, religious artifacts are brought about on the altar to have them blessed by holy water.
